Raspberry Vanilla Chapstick

~UPDATE~
They have re-released the original raspberry cream chap stick under a slightly different name, here is a link to where you can buy it!!!!

 and

My favorite lip stuff EVER was Chap Stick Lip Balm Vanilla Raspberry , but they very rudely discontinued it! I almost bought a case of 15 for $35 but didn't, now it's all gone and I am very sad. I have been searching for it for years, and I'm not alone, there are support groups and blog posts about others who miss this wonderful product, but alas they have yet to bring it back.....

I couldn't even find a product that came anywhere close...until now!

Soooo.....
.....if you loved this.....

....you'll be excited to know this is almost the same! Two things are different, the scent/flavor is weaker and it's way smoother! Which I don't know about you, but I really like a smooth applying chap stick. I am very excited that I've found a replacement for my favorite chap stick! =)
.....now of I could just find some decent cinnamon swirl ice cream.....but that's another story!=)

The Dance

The room was magnificent, from the brightly frescoed ceilings far above, to the shinning floor, which looked smooth as silk and almost glowed beneath the elegantly clad dancers feet. Heavy emerald drapes were pulled back from the windows, to show the first snow just beginning to fall…..

The man in the moon looked down and grinned as he spied, far below, a lone couple dancing in his softly glowing light. The man leaned in closer and slipped something on the girl’s finger, and then he softly hummed a special tune which made the girl sigh and lean into his shoulder. The moon turned away, embarrassed to have intruded…..

A white dress, flowers and one final dance as father and daughter before they would take that final walk and he gave his little girl away. She looks up at him and smiles; he tries to smile back, but can’t quite do it. The girl hugs him and they both begin to cry.....

Up and down, round and round…..a young mother softly sways as she tries to get her precious baby back to sleep. She smiles down at this amazing gift of love that God has given her, when she feels strong arms come around her middle. “How blessed we are,” a familiar voice softly whispers in her ear as they sway together, smiling down upon their child.....

Another white dress, another bitter sweet day as they watch their precious daughter dance with the love of her life. He stands and holds his hand out to her, grinning that grin that he knows she can’t resist. She shook her head anyway, not wanting to take the attention off of their girl. A few minutes later, a gasp filled the room as someone collapsed…..

“To dance, oh to dance once more,” the old women cried as she looked down at her lap, her legs unmoving beneath a colorful blanket. A single tear left her check and fell upon a picture held in her trembling hand. A young couple danced there, in a stately ball room, unaware that this would be only the first dance of many. Oh, if only she had said yes that fateful day…..

Light filled the room, waking the old woman up. She peered into the light and saw a figure walk out. He grinned that grin she couldn't resist and he held out his hand, just like he had that last day. She shook her head as tears filled her eyes and she gestured sadly toward her legs. Coming over, he grabbed her hand and pulled her out of bed. She gasped as she looked down at herself and saw not a gray, faded, flannel gown, but a rich silk ball gown of the brightest blue. She looked up at him and smiled, tears in her eyes once more. He softly began humming a special tune as he lead her into the light…..

Interesting stats.....

If there is one thing I love about the big blogger overhaul it's the stats page! I love seeing which posts are most popular and where the people who visit my blog are coming from! I know this is all enormously fascinating to you all as it is to me, so I thought I'd share a few of them!

My most popular post is..... Penelope's Coat at 496 pages views. Lots of people out there want that coat!

The second most popular is.....If Life Gives You Lemon Fabric.....  at 228 pages views! This is my favorite dress, it makes me smile every time I see it! =)

Ashley over at Bramblewoodfashion wins for being the most popular referring URL at 488, thanks Ashley!!!

The United States, Canada and the United Kingdom are the top three audiences of my blog....Russia and Latvia are also up there numbers wise!

And the top three search topics that bring people to my blog are....

There are quite a few different phrasings and exact words, but they are all looking for the same thing, info on that coat!

The BEST vanilla perfume ever, I still love it!!

Apparently, lots of people also want to know where to get Isabelle's skirt!

And last but not least, some one has been googling me by name....KatySue Pillsbury.....more then once.....I know I google people, but I'm weird! =)

So, hello random google-ers out there! I would love it if you would drop me a note so I know who you are....it's MUCH easier to get the restraining order when you know who's name to put on it! Just kidding....kind of....maybe..... ;-)

The Doctor

I have fallen in love with The Doctor......which Doctor you might ask? Well, he has no name. But, he does have an engagingly witty sense of humor, his big ears and nose only add to the charm of his lop sided grin and he travels through space and time in a blue police box called the Tardis. As you may have guessed, I am talking about Doctor Who!!

Christopher Eccleston plays The Doctor in season one of what I'm pretty sure is my new favorite show! The one problem? Only my normal pet peeve with British tv, the sound effects are SUPER loud and the talking is mumbly.....can someone please explain why this is?

I only have two episodes left before The Doctor dies somehow and regenerates to look like someone else.....

.....and I'm afraid I won't like the show as much.....

.....becuase in my opinion, Christopher Eccleston plays the part to perfection! But, since he's my first introduction to The Doctor who knows, maybe I'll like the next one even better!

Rose is his trusty sidekick and she hangs around for at least another season, I like her but can't look to close or she seems strangely....I don't know.....fake? Like she's had work done or something!

The Tardis is my favorite spaceship of all time, they are usually so......so......well, spaceship-y looking.....What can I say? Normal Sci-Fi is not really my thing!

Best episode so far? It would have to be The Empty Child set, my Mom and I watched three episodes that night and my Mom (not Mum!) is not that into the show.....yet, I'm slowly converting her! =)

Creepiest.....thing....ever!!!!

Becca, if you are reading this, you are SO not allowed to call Mom, Mum any more, got it?????

The current seasons (They are still making new ones) are all streaming on Netflix right now (I love Netlflix! I really, really do!) so get thee to a TV/computer and watch it!! =)
