Day 25~ A Recipe

Raspberry Cordial

Diana poured herself out a tumblerful, looked at its bright-red hue admiringly, and then sipped it daintily.
" That's awfully nice raspberry cordial, Anne," she said. "I didn't know raspberry cordial was so nice."

Day 24~ A Movie no one Would Expect You to Love

I'm going to change it up a little and post a movie that everyone expects me to love and I hate! I like to wide a range of movies to truly surprise anyone with my likes.

I truly loathe Barbara Streisand! I love musicals, but for some reason this woman drives me insane and puts me to sleep all at the same time! This is the only one I've ever attempted to watch and I feel asleep in the first 15 minutes! :-P

Day 23~ A Way in Which you Want to be Remembered

I want to be remembered as someone who loved God and tried to honor and serve Him every moment, of every day of my life!

Now to be entirely frivolous, I want to be a famous author!

*~Belle~*

It's nice to know I'm not the only person who loves this movie! 15 days dedicated to this wonderful story, how shall I ever convey my bliss?=)

Day 22~ A Website

This website is almost solely responsible for my decent into blog-dom! It's a website with patterns designed Mrs. Chancey and they span the ages, all the way from Regency to a 1940's swing dress. There is also a forum where you can talk about vintage clothes, sewing, recipes, it's a place for people with a common interest to talk about what they love. Because somtimes the people around you get tired of listening to it!. I loved looking at the pics of others peoples project and it inspired me to start a blog to share my own projects and thoughts with the world! And aren't't you happy I did world?=)

French Flea Market

A local antique store Pomegranate hosted a French themed flea market today. I meant to bring my camera, but from the lack of pictures it's obvious I forgot! There were lots of booths of both antiques and new things. I was sorely tempted by the most beautiful red and white striped bag. It looked so vintage-nautical that only the $55 price kept me from buying it. I did come away from with this little gem though!

An old milk crate to hold my collection of little boxes. My slightly less romantic sister said, "So, you just bought a big box, to put your little boxes in?" Yes, Becca. That's exactly what I did!=)

Apron Swap!

I participated in an apron swap through Hand Made By Desi and this is the apron I made. I had grand plans to get it done and sent off by the second week of July, but alas, time flew away and I finished it and mailed it off the tail end of the last week. It was still July though, it may have been the last day in July but still!=)

This is the beautiful apron that I received. I got it this week, Thursday I think, but in between working, house sitting and all the other things that go into living in a house with 7 people in it, I didn't get a chance to take pictures until today! It came all the way from Bermuda, awesome right?=)

A big thank you to Desi for hosting and to Eden for my beautiful apron, this was my first blog swap and it was loads of fun!=)
